COVID-19 update: Breathific launch is coming in July 2020.

Announcing Breathific Dental Pre+Probiotics

Edible Oral Strips

Coming Hopefully in July 2020

We are excited to announce after three years of hard work that our new Breathific™ Dental Pre+Probiotics Edible Oral Strips with patent pending Place-and-Forget® time-release technology are nearing completion.

  • Imagine waking up with fresh breath and kissing your partner without embarrassment.

  • Imagine the confidence of talking up close and personal to people without fear of breath odor.

  • Think how you would feel when your next dental checkup is easier.

This is not your usual dental probiotic that you merely chew up and swallow quickly …

… because dental probiotics do no good for your mouth when they are in your gut.

For dental probiotics to REALLY WORK, they must stay in your mouth more than 2.5 hours, and that’s what Breathific does.

Unlike other dental probiotic tablets or lozenges that you chew and swallow within a few minutes, Breathific is an edible oral strip that adheres in the mouth and dissolves a little at a time. That way, you swallow it slowly, thereby allowing its probiotics to activate in the mouth before they are eventually swallowed.

Here’s how it works:

A Breathific edible strip adheres discreetly and safely in the mouth…

… dissolving little by little, and time-releasing its probiotics so you actually swallow the strip and its probiotics slowly.

A Breathific edible strip can last about 3 hours if you use one in the daytime, and up to 8 hours if you use one overnight.

Breathific’s probiotics compete against dental pathogens for food, space, and resources, thus crowding out many oral pathogens…

… and promoting normal oral health while freshening breath naturally.

Advantages over other dental probiotics:

  • Only Breathific has patent pending, Place-and-Forget, time-release, adherent technology.
  • Each lozenge contains billions* of organisms from 4 bacterial strains specially selected for better oral health and to populate various oral niches: gums, teeth, tongue, tonsils, sinuses, throat, etc.
    • (* 3.5 billion at time of manufacture and 1 billion at 18 months expiry)
  • The strips have been formulated to safely and discreetly last in the mouth from 3 to 8 hours.
  • You can even use Breathific™ while you sleep!
  • Because of the strip formulation, the probiotic organisms can actually rehydrate, adapt, survive, grow, colonize, and populate their specific niches for days or weeks instead of merely being swallowed within 15 minutes.
  • The strip also forms a spreadable film that can cover oral sores and wounds — especially useful after dental treatments, surgeries, canker sores, etc..

What They Do and How They Work

  • Breathific adds to your mouth billions of known good dental bacteria (probiotics) that are found in healthy mouths without bad breath, gum disease, and cavities.
  • When used regularly, Breathific probiotics compete against and can replace bad dental bacteria.
  • Our probiotics are specially selected for their diversity and specificity for various oral niches — teeth, gums, tongue, tonsils, sinuses, and throat. They are also chosen for their ability to fight bad dental germs, freshen breath, and promote normal oral health.
  • Breathific probiotics release potent bacteriocins (natural germ-fighting compounds) that kill bad dental germs.
  • Each strip contains patent pending, Place-and-Forget®, time-release, adherent technology that allows you to “wear” the lozenge for hours at a time as it slowly dissolves.

Potential results from using Breathific Probiotics: ¥

  • On your first morning — fresh breath in the morning — no more morning breath when you use it while sleeping! This is worth millions alone! Your significant other will thank you…
  • Within 1 to 3 weeks — fresher breath all day, more confidence, and hopefully a better love life
  • Within one month — whiter teeth due to less plaque buildup
  • Within six months — better dental checkups
  • After a year — savings on dental treatment

Works Slowly In Your Mouth, Not In Your Gut

With its unique, patent-pending, AdherentPlace and Forget, Film-Forming feature, each strip time-releases into your mouth its strains of dental probiotics over three to eight hours. Therefore you can even use it safely during sleep. Other brands of dental probiotic supplements do not have this long-lasting ability.

Breathific’s intra-oral adherent strips stick discreetly in your mouth and slowly dissolve to form a spreadable probiotic film that is slowly swallowed. The film protects its dental probiotic strains and keeps them growing within your mouth where you need them.

The probiotics spread throughout your mouth and colonize various niches: tongue, tonsils, throat, sinuses, teeth, gums, and cheeks before being swallowed. In these locations, many of the probiotic microbes continue to grow, replicate and compete against bad dental germs. They crowd out bad, odorous germs and fight them for space to grow. By filling your mouth with good, probiotic organisms every night, you can eventually overwhelm bad germs, and re-balance your oral microbiome.

Over time (3 months or so) with repeated use and good oral hygiene practices, Breathific’s dental probiotics can shift the population of microbes in your mouth toward better, friendlier microbes. More friendly oral microbes mean fewer bad bugs in your mouth, naturally. That’s because bad dental germs make bad odors. And fewer bad germs means fresher breath and a healthier mouth.

Breathific™ Dental Pre+Probiotics is the first of a new class of multi-use, “Place-and-Forget®“, adherent, dental synbiotic dietary supplements designed as a time-release oral strip.

A synbiotic is a combination of probiotics and prebiotics. Probiotics are defined by the World Health Organization as  “micro-organisms that confer a health benefit on the host when administered properly”.  (We at RENUzORAL believe the proper way to administer dental probiotics is via an adherent, time release method.) Prebiotics are natural food fibers that are the preferred foods for the probiotics. Prebiotics keep the probiotics healthy while they are growing and doing their jobs.

“Place and Forget” adherence is the game-changing feature

You place the strip in your mouth between a cheek and gums. Within 10 seconds the strip adheres discreetly and begins slowly dissolving. Then it feels so comfortable you essentially forget about it. You can even sleep safely with it. The total dissolution process takes between 3 to 8 hours, depending upon whether you use it during the day (3 hrs), or while sleeping (up to 8 hrs).

Morning breath is mostly caused by the nighttime overgrowth of bad dental germs. Most dental germs that cause gum problems smell bad.

By pitting good probiotic microbes against pathogenic microbes, we can crowd out and eliminate many bad dental germs. Fresh morning breath means that the good probiotics in Breathific are working.

Also — because of the well-known oral-systemic link***, we can manage the link between dental problems and systemic problems by fighting bad dental germs.  Thus, fresher breath in the morning = fewer bad dental germs = healthier mouth = fewer links*** to systemic problems.

*** Oral health and systemic disease are intimately related but have remained, sadly, as isolated knowledge communities for decades. … it is noteworthy that bacteria form surface-attached communities on most biological surfaces, including the oral cavity. Biofilm-forming bacteria contribute to periodontal diseases and recent evidence points to roles of these bacteria in systemic diseases as well, with cardiovascular diseases, obesity, and cancer as notable examples.
